Martin Liss

Martin Liss had been working as the person responsible for several forms of media (radio, mobile TV, online). For BCI he is now working as a consultant and certified coach. His areas of expertise are classis content and digital transformation, program, strategy and revenue models for the mobile and multimedia world as well as all resulting questions of management and structure.

Martin Liss (born 9th July 1968 in Stuttgart) is a German corporate consultant, media manager, presenter, coach and communication expert. Above all he has been active in radio, e.g. as program director national at ENERGY Germany (a subsidiary of the French NRJ S.A., Paris).

Martin is one of the few managers in German radio who have experiences in executive positions for other media. E.g. he was program director of the mobile TV start-up “Mobiles Fernsehen Deutschland MFD” and its successor “Mobile 3.0” with the publishing houses Burda and Holtzbrinck as shareholders (among others) as well as the Berlin entrepreneur Paulus Neef (Pixelpark) and the South African media enterprise Naspers. Until recently Martin had been working as program managing director for the online TV network Mediakraft. He is also active as an investor and consultant for several start-ups.

Martin had been teaching at several universities (e.g. Hochschule der Medien HdM Stuttgart) and won several media awards, e.g. a special award for the implementation of “visual radio” at bigFM. He is a member of the program committee of the Radiodays Europe. Martin studied linguistics in Freiburg i.Br. and graduated as Magister Artium (M.A.). He is a certified systemic coach (artop at the Humboldt University Berlin) and a certified paramedic.
Martin speaks fluent French, English and German; he lives in Berlin with his family.
